Returns & Refunds Policy

If something is wrong, contact us first. Medieval combat equipment is often custom, sized or made-to-order, so the exact return path depends on the product and its condition.

Eligibility Requirements

Standard, unused items may be eligible for return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in the same condition you received them, and in the original packaging where possible.

To complete your return, we may require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back without contacting us first.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-made, personalised or individually sized equipment.
  • Items modified at your request.
  • Used combat equipment, worn padding or hygienic items.
  • Gift cards, vouchers and downloadable products.
  • Items returned damaged, incomplete or not in original condition for reasons not caused by Historicum.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may apply when an item is returned with signs of use, missing parts, damaged packaging, or after the standard return window where legally allowed.

Refund Processing

Once your return is received

After we receive and inspect the return, we will confirm approval or rejection. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Processing times depend on your bank or payment provider.

Late or missing refunds

If you have checked with your bank or card provider and still have not received an approved refund, contact us at order.historicum@gmail.com.

Sale Items

Sale items may have reduced refund options unless the item is faulty or your statutory consumer rights apply.

Exchanges

We replace items when they are defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied. For size or model changes, contact us and we will confirm whether exchange is possible.

Gifts

If an item was marked as a gift, eligible refunds may be issued as store credit or voucher. If not marked as a gift, the refund normally goes to the original purchaser.

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is caused by our error or a defective product. For expensive items, use a trackable shipping service and consider insurance.
