What it is
The Houndskull Bascinet is a classic late-medieval helmet designed for full-contact medieval combat. Its elongated visor provides excellent facial protection while maintaining good visibility and airflow, making it a popular choice for both experienced competitors and newcomers.
The helmet can be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of Buhurt International (BI) and IMCF rule sets, ensuring it is suitable for modern medieval combat competitions.
To maximize comfort and protection, the helmet can be equipped with a range of optional accessories:
- Custom-made padding
- Quilted arming cap
- Premium quilted cap with integrated collar and protective plates
- Riveted chainmail aventail, handcrafted and tempered in Poland
