What it is
Inspired by historical sources from the second half of the 15th century, the Gambeson Type 3 is based on garments commonly worn by soldiers of the period. It features the characteristic V-shaped collar sewn into the back, while the shape of the lower edge follows examples depicted in the paintings of Hans Memling.
Designed for comfort and mobility, this gambeson provides balanced padding without excessive bulk, making it an excellent choice to wear under plate armor or chainmail.
