Gambeson Type 1

A simple medieval gambeson with vertical seems and a turn-up collar, well fitted to the trunk. In the standard version, gambeson is fastened with four leather straps (with a surcharge it can be made with overcast stitches). The length is half – thigh. With the cut at the back.

Average; 2 layers of wadding on body, 1 layer on arms (with streghtening on elbows and shoulders)
