Spaulders Type 4 are made from 1 mm tempered spring steel and are designed to provide maximum protection for full-contact medieval combat. Their extensive coverage protects the shoulders, collarbones, upper back, while the integrated roundel helps shield the vulnerable armpit area.

Constructed from five articulated lames, these spaulders offer outstanding mobility despite their high level of protection. The articulated design allows the arm to move freely, making them an excellent choice for demanding buhurt competitions.
