The Salada Type 2 is based on a popular late-medieval helmet design and is intended primarily for historical reenactment, living history, and LARP use. Its characteristic shape makes it a recognizable addition to many historical impressions.

The helmet is supplied with a matching bevor, providing additional protection to the lower face and neck area.

Full-Contact Medieval Combat

Due to the design characteristics of historical sallets, this model is not our primary recommendation for full-contact medieval combat. Fighters interested in using a Salada Type 2 for buhurt, profight, or other full-contact disciplines should contact us before ordering.

Additional modifications and reinforcements may be required to meet modern safety standards and competition regulations. Each case is assessed individually based on the intended use and ruleset.
